~A Cherished Friend~

My mom once told me when I was young
That a true friend will be hard to find
And if you happen to be so lucky
It was in God's grand design.

I want you to know I have been blessed
I found such a friend in you
You've always been right by my side
To help me see things through.

I cherish and love you my dear friend
You mean so much to me
I thank the Lord for you everyday
In my heart is where you'll always be.
