Funny how strangers become family
over the net,
strangers from all over the world,
whom we haven't physically met.

You are one of those strangers
that I dearly love.
I love the e-mails,
the jokes you take time to send,
the special cards addressed, 'To My Friend'.
It's almost as if you have read my mind,
and to think I once was told,
"A true friend is hard to find".

You are woven into my chain of friendships,
I cherish each and every one,
When I asked the chain for prayers in your behalf,
they answered, "Consider it done".

From my special friendship book
a pyramid of prayers
have been sent to God up above,
petitioning in your behalf,
that he comfort you and heal you
from his realm of love.
