~ Friendship Bouquet ~
Here, I've been wondering how
I could make your day really special
somehow
and then I had a thought, if I twirled
into a garden and found
the loveliest flowers and gathered them up
into the prettiest spring bouquet, then
wrapped it all with ribbon
and lace,
I could give it right now
to my lovely friend
So, you would know I think
of you so much
that I want to send across the miles
my love and prayers
and such,
because you are so treasured
Please today
take this fragrance
from my heart,
just a token of my love, a sweet
and tender little touch
