~ Friendship Bridge ~

We walk along the Friendship Bridge
Talking for hours on end
Sharing memories of days gone by
I love that in you, friend

The road that leads to Friendship Bridge
Is very wide, and very long
When seeing you there, my heart it sings
An everlasting friendship song

You give to me such confidence
When I feel, way down low
And when the days seem long, and hard
To Friendship Bridge we go

So, thank you my friend, for giving to me
Your heart, and soul, you know
For without you near, to brighten my days
This Friendship Bridge, I wouldn't know

May we walk along the Friendship Bridge
Sharing laughter, love, and strife
For being friends with you, has given to me
A blessed meaning to life.
