Lord,
be

Friend
today,
Because
I
cannot
be.
She's
gone
away
to
places
I
can
neither
know
nor
see.
Please
let
her
know
I
miss
her...
Her
smile,
her
eyes,
her
laugh.
Perhaps
it
would
mean
more
If
You
could
speak
on
my
behalf.
Please
tell
her
that
she's
special,
Though
I've
told
her
so
before.
But
somehow,
Lord,
perhaps
today
She
just
might
need
it
more.
Just
scoop
her
up
in
Your
strong
arms;
Take
her
to
a
safe,
warm
place,
Until
I'm
able
once
again
To
see
her
welcomed
face.
