You are friends unseen of mine
We exchange e-mails all the time
But I would not know you on the street
In case we should ever meet.
Friends unseen have a special place
In my life they are unusual and unique
Sharing ideals, jokes, laughter and dreams
And yet we never speak.
In my mind I picture how you look
Just as you might picture me
An intriguing game for us to play
With someone we may never see.
Friends unseen are God's blessing
With each e-mail we owe Him a debt
Perhaps the charm of friends unseen
Is the fact that we have never met.
