You ask me how I'm doing
Well let me tell you friend
Old man winter took a turn
And came our way again

He froze up the spring showers
And made them fluffy white
Then dumped them on the flowers
In the middle of the night

We were having spring time
Just about a week ago
Then that cold hearted old man
Came again with ice and snow

All the ground critters are shivering
As they run to burrows in the ground
They were having such a good time
'Til he turned back around

I put my winter clothes back on
Got the furnace turned up again
I'm gonna go to bed 'til spring
Not getting up 'til then

I seem to be remembering when
Spring came each year same day
Global warming sure ain't helping us
Here in Michigan USA
