There's something missing in my garden
An imbalance on the shelf,
Could it have a little more interest
Does it represent myself.

I have the drought resistant
The prettiest knick-knacks on the bench,
An array of succulent beauties
And those with a fragrant scent.

But it still is lacking color
A soft and gentle hue,
Oh, I wish upon my garden shelf
There perched a lovely you.

The heart is a garden
That always has room
For the flowers of kindness
And friendship that blooms!
