Dear Father in heaven,
Thank you for your love
In the gift of beauty, to us you
have given
Created by YOUR hand, from
above.
To begin the day, the rising of
the sun
In the evening the splendor of
the sunset
When the day is done.
Then comes the beauty of the
night
Shining bright are the moon and
stars
To give the darkness, light.
All the seasons have their own
different beauty
From the springtime to the
winter
To thank you for them Dear
Father, I feel is my duty.
Springtime brings new life, from
the winter's sleep
As the flowers burst forth, from
the deep.
Then comes summer with the
longest of days
A time to enjoy it's beauty, in
so many ways.
Next my favorite time of year,
the fall
The colors of the trees, I love
most of all.
Winter will now paint the earth,
in a blanket of white
When the snow begins to fall
Oh, the beauty of your creation
Father
