~ God Come ~

We are waiting, patiently
Lord, for your return
Looking up, with eyes of hope
For you, our hearts do yearn

How long will it be, oh Lord,
Until we see you once again?
The world around us getting colder
All hopes on you, our living bread

When will clouds part, and thunders roar,
To harken in your grand arrival?
We need you soon, to gather up
Your children, for this revival

We will meet you in the air
New bodies, and eternal life
We will soar with you to Heaven
In this, our hearts rejoice

We are waiting, patiently
Lord, to see you once again
Where everything will be at peace
And when life will never end
