~  God, Hear My Prayer  ~

God hear my prayer
I am needing you
I've had a hard day
Of things to go through

First my day started off
With some really bad news
I had to run out the door
And it left me feeling blue

A feeling swept over me
Of pain, and despair
And the first thing I thought of
Was "Please God, hear my prayer"

Lord, I need you now
Much more then ever
I need some assurance
That you'll leave me, never

I need you to hold up
Someone who is dear
Someone I've loved
For so many years

God hear my prayer
Please find a way
To keep me in your arms
All of this day
