As we walk through this life
together
Our friends become our
family
When we don't forget the one
who died
On that rugged cross for you
and me.
He shed his own tears and
blood
So all our sins would be
forgiven
And so each could freely
choose
To spend eternity in Hell or
Heaven.
I know I do not have a whole
lot
And most of it's not worth a
dime
But having you as a forever
friend.
Could not be bought in my
lifetime.
I treasure what we have
between us
And I love the things we
always share
And even though we're miles
apart
At times I feel you standing
here.
Though we may never meet
face to face
And a computer is our only
communication
Knowing that you really care
and understand
Can heal the most unpleasant
