The Rainbow way up yonder
Is a glimpse of Heaven to me
God is showing off His artwork
For all mankind to see

Radiant colors abounding
Earthly eyes have never seen
Hues of golden sunlight
Reflecting off each beam

These colors don't exist here
They're in God's Holy Land
And He's saving all the good things
For us in Heaven, when there we'll stand

Opalescent Purples, Pinks, and Blues
A wondrous puffer cloud, or two
Will greet us when we enter in
To Heaven's gate, so true

The Rainbow way up yonder
Is a glimpse of Heaven to me
And the color in God's rainbow
Is a sight for all to see
