Good Morning, Lord, it’s me again,
Do you mind if we have a talk?
I come to you with sorrow,
Come, let’s take a walk.

As you know, I had a friend,
That loved me  kind and true.
But I did something awful,
Now I don’t know what to do.

Oh, Dear Lord, please help me,
For I know I broke their heart,
It was something really stupid,
That has caused us now to part.

I’m sorry that I burden you,
I know I’ve done my share,
But that is why I love you,
Because you’re always there.
