Gun
It Dad
~
Power it Dad, gun the
gears
As we watch you go,
Right from the starting
line
You sure control the
road.
Let her rip, give her
throttle
Tear up the burning
rubber,
Pedal to the metal
Lead foot it on the
double.
Hug the corners, drive
the straights
Gun it more to hold the
lead,
You've got what it takes
To travel at high speed.
For being the greatest
father
You surely can succeed,
My admiration today and
always
I want you to receive.

I talk and talk and
talk, and I haven't
taught people in 50
years
what my father taught by
example in one week.
- Mario Cuomo
It's only when you grow
up, and step back from
him,
or leave him for your
own career and your own
home--
it's only then that you
measure his greatness
and fully appreciate it
Pride reinforces love.
