~ Happy Easter ~
I'll don my Easter bonnet
As off to church I will go
I'll listen to the words of God
And hand up to him my woes.
I'll share with Him my good times
And thank Him for all my friends
I'll smile and wave at someone new
And maybe shake a stranger's hand.
I'll thank Him for the good things
And I will also thank Him for the bad
I will thank Him for the joys in life
And I will thank Him for when I was sad.
I will thank Him for the smiles I share
And I will also thank Him for every tear
Because they have made me stronger
Throughout my many, many long years.
So Happy Easter to you my friends
Hope you will celebrate His new life
Because He was truly resurrected
After He died for our sins and strife.
