My thanksgiving will be happy all because of you,
For God gave me a friend
To blow away the blues
He knew I needed someone, my heart to bless,
With the fruit of His spirit, He selected
Only the very best.
For you offer a gentle joy, sweeter than a peach,
Your goodness overflows
Just within my reach.
As an apple a day, keeps the doctor away,
The peace you share in all you say
Is so nice every day.
So please take this basket I give to you
For you deserve the abundance
Of my gratitude.
