This year may have been a struggle
Heartbreak for you to bear
As you battled to survive
Beneath a load of care

You wonder if your prayers were heard
Worn down with despair
Trembling 'neath the shadow
Of so much pain to bear

I've cried to stand across the bridge
Spanning grief for you
Praying in your sorrows
The most that I could do

The harvest angel is coming now
God's love to hover near
Lifting you in courage
To comfort all your fear

For I know He's closer than a heart-beat
He hears every word we pray
His harvest brings love and light and hope
For us to give thanks
To turn the darkness into day

Life breaks us sometimes, but God can grow us
stronger at the broken places."
