Have you ever paused to glance up, on a misty morn
Entranced by a pretty cloud tumbling by,
Have you ever heard the music of the dawning
And wished that you could fly.
Have you ever felt the wind tugging gently at your hair
And wondered who is really there,
Have you ever been captivated by a mountain range
To twirl delightfully unaware.
Have you ever stood so silent at a crystal lake
Reflecting mirror sheen,
Compelled to softly weep, held in the glory
Of all the wonder seen.
Have you ever reached to touch the velvet softness
Enfolded in a fragrant bud,
And become immersed within the color
Showering from above.
Have you ever wished for heaven as you barely breathed
Praying it to never go away,
As you lingered in the majesty
To hold close for countless days.
Have you ever laid down in the glorious sunshine
To gaze into the azure blue,
And softly whispered to the sky
Oh Lord Jesus, how very close am I to You.

If we have God, we have all there is.
If we have all there is, we have God.
