~ He Ain't Heavy ~
Though sometimes I may feel weighed down
By the burden I may bear,
My heart keeps beating on
'Cause they ain't heavy
When I want to care.
When I sit down to let out the longest sigh
Wondering how my strength will come,
I remember I will go on
'Cause they ain't heavy
When I call upon God's love.
As another busy road looms ahead
With an extra mile to tread,
I just have to get down to pray
Dear Father, will You carry all for me
For they only ain't so heavy
If You lift me up each day.

In any trial, in any bitter
situation, you are
not alone, you are not helpless, you are not a victim.
You have a sheltering tree, a cross, shown to you
by the Sovereign God of Calvary. Whatever the
trial or temptation, it is not more than you can bear.
It is bearable. It can be handled in God's strength.
You can know as Joseph knew, "You meant evil
against me, but God meant it for good in order
to bring about this present result, to preserve
many people alive" (Genesis 50:20).
