~ HEART FRIEND ~

Heart friend, you move my spirit,
as no other ever has...
Who would have ever thought,
that less traveled roads would pass.

The true friends of life are so far
and few there in between,
so hold on softly to the wonder
our hearts have already seen.

Spirit moves my very soul,
when love you send my way,
I pray to our dear Lord above
this heart friend is here to stay.

Walk gently on this earth we share,
tread lightly on your path.
Someday you'll turn and find me there,
a friendship of hearts will last.
