An Angel ~
Heaven must be
missing an angel
Because you've been
one to me
God heard my soul
crying out
He heard my earnest
pleas.
And then suddenly
you were there
You led me to the
light
You knew how much I
was suffering
You knew that things
weren't right.
I didn't want to
live anymore
I felt so lost and
all alone
My struggles were
becoming too much
I had nothing I
could call my own.
But you, my friend,
saw the spark
Even though it was
considerably dimmer
You cradled me in
your arms that day
Exposed emotions I
had kept hidden.
It's been a year
since we became
friends
I owe you so much, I
owe you my life
God sent me you, his
wonderful angel
You saved me and led
me to God's light.
