~ He Came A Long Way ~
He came a long way from heaven
To take away my sin and strife
He came a long way from heaven
To give to me eternal life.

He reached way down to pick me up
For I was in deep miry clay
I had sank so low, and still sinking
I'd totally lost my way.
I was a long way from heaven
And I could not go to Him
He came a long way to earth
Just to save me from my sins.

Now the way doesn't seem too long
As we journey hand in hand
Because my Jesus leads me on
Together we'll reach the promised land.
