~ He Gave To Us ~
He gave to us the world
So we would prosper, and prepare
A good start, for our future
But we've forgotten how to care
He gave to us Salvation
Through His precious, only Son
But we fail to see the reason
So it's Jesus, now we shun
He gave to us so sweetly
His never, ending Grace
Now all we do is criticize
And the worlds removed Him, from His place
Schools won't tolerate the praying
They say the Bible's not allowed
Is it any wonder the young are straying
Into a life that's so unsound?
The laws of our land keep Him hidden
They've taken God out of all they can
They're running scared I say, of truth
Afraid of one Holy, loving man
God alone extends His Mercy
Like a cool, and healing salve
We must wake up, and change this pattern
Put God back into all we have
