~ He Gave Us Wings ~
God knew we needed each others wings
To give us a lift to freely share,
For He put in us,
The desire for greater love beyond ourselves
And showed us how to care.

With His own whispery soft sweetness
He said to reach out a loving hand,
To be a friend just like Him
In the weary days
To help another understand.

Go, give each other some of My comfort
For, I have all that you will need,
Uphold in prayer each passing moment
In the joy and pain
Sow together, My eternal seeds.

Bless the other with courageous hope to fly
Remind yourselves that true love
Can never part,
Sing a song of life together
For you are of My heart.

God knew we were meant to meet
To be together to make it through,
In His plan of love for us,
He just knew
