He Is There

HE is there, at the rising of the sun
HE is there, when day is done
HE is there, when I awake
HE is there, when I sleep
HE is there, when I laugh
HE is there, when I weep.



HE is there, as my guiding light
To bring me safely through the night.
HE is there, when times are good
To give me joy, as only HE could.
HE is there, in the mist of my sorrow
HE is my hope, to face tomorrow.



On HIS promises, I can surely depend
HIS love for me, has no end.
Then when on earth, my days are gone
Even then, I will not be left alone
HE will be there, to take me home.
