Here You Are!!
Forever Friends, You and Me,
That's how God wants us to be.
Hand in hand we'll walk together,
No matter how stormy the weather.
God brought you to me for a reason,
Whether it be lifetime or a season.
And just like you, I haven't a clue,
But God must have known, I'd need you.
It delights my heart and warms my soul,
You seem to help make my life whole.
Some days I felt so sad and blue,
But all that has changed, since I met you.
I know God works in mysterious ways,
And I know he hears as each one prays,
So I prayed to God for a Friend so true,
He sent me a Forever Friend in You.
Oh how lucky can one be,
To know he sent you down for me.
I know I thank my lucky star,
Because of Prayer, Here you are.
