He Sent The Light
I had come to the river of Jordan
And so dark it seemed to me
But a light shone through the darkness
And made my eyes to see
For beyond the dark I know
Is a God that's oh' so real
He gave His all for us one day
On old Golgotha's hill
Without that light from glory
We'd never find our way
He understood from the beginning
So He sent His great light to stay
That light is none other than Jesus
He will take us 'cross Jordan one day
We won't have to face that darkness
As long as He leads the way
Crossing that river of Jordan
Leads to the home of the soul
Where everything is perfect
And streets are paved with gold!
Step into the light dear brother
If you don't want to be lost
If your soul is not ready
When that Jordan we all must cross!
