Hold to me tightly...
don't ever let go...
for sometimes I slip,
where to, I don't know.

When I think of the cross,
and the pain that you bore....
the blood that you shed...
and the crown that you wore...

I think "what a man"
God sent for me,
and now I know
what you expect to see.

I'll live my life
the best that I can,
and when I reach out,
there will be your hand...

to gently guide me thru
life's ever tumbling waters,
to give me your strength
and take away sorrows.

So, hold to me tightly...
I'll never let go...
and I won't slip...
so your glory I'll know.
