Hold
me. Thrill me...
never let me go,
This the cry of the ages,
for the heart to know.
I have found my one true love,
who holds me to His heart,
Who thrills me deep inside,
from Him to never part.
He takes me close within
the wonder of His love
For my heart to freely soar
high in the heavens above.
I sing with wildest joy wrapped
forever in His embrace
Only tender is the look
upon His gentle face..
Crowned in this love
I am arrayed resplendent
All my hope in Him
is of complete fulfillment.
He knows me to the depths
of my innermost soul
And now in His acceptance
I am made completely whole.
His sacrificial love
is beyond my comprehension
I bask in the wonder
of His deepest compassion.
He is able to understand
all of my heart's need
The cry of my brokenness
He always will heed.
He leads my thoughts
into such a better way
So I find wisdom
to know His best for today,
He is faithful to fulfill
all He desires for me
To lift me up to find
all that He wills me to be.
Oh, the beauty that I see
now that He is near
For He takes away
all that gripping fear,
And fills my heart
with sweet security
Nevermore will I be alone
for all eternity.
