Home Is Still Best ~
From the vast expanse of Texas,
To the hills of Tennessee,
God has greatly blessed this land,
That’s plain for all to see.
He put the Rockies in Colorado,
In Montana He put big sky,
And painted a desert in Arizona,
Just to delight the eye.
Missouri has the Ozarks,
California the sequoia trees,
In Maine there’s the Allagash,
And Florida has the keys.
From the Atlantic to the Pacific,
To the Gulf of Mexico,
You will see the works of God,
Where ever you may go.
But, no matter where you roam,
North, South, East or West,
For the weary traveler,
Home is still the best.~*~
