A Home To Belong

Oh, he thought he'd never know
Of all his soul had longed
Wandering alone
Wanting to belong
His broken heart so shattered
Cold within his hand
He cried into the night
Will someone understand

The empty solitude to fight
Where then is the love
The fulfillment of a man
Seeking now for meaning
To find the whisper in the wind
Where he could be known
Somewhere soft to lay
Cradled in a dream

The depths within the soul
A stirring long to know
A love to ever keep
Somewhere true to go
Emotion in the soul
To be, to know, to give
To uncover all the meaning
Of where the heart can live

Oh Lord, whisper something loving,
Somehow let him know
All the secrets You can show
Give his precious heart a home
Never more alone
