Today we're observing
Mother's Day
But for some of us,
our mothers aren't
here
They're enjoying this
day up in Heaven
While we miss them and
shed some tears.
Our hearts are all
laden with sorrow
As this day represents
so much
A woman who loved and
nourished us
We miss her presence
and her touch.
For those of us whose
mothers aren't here
Just remember they're
by our side
They've never really
left us
Can't you feel them
drying our eyes?
Listen carefully and
hear their voice
As they whisper into
our ear
"I love you my child,
please don't cry
I never left, I am
right here."
