~ I Believe ~

I believe God created
The earth, sky, and sea
I believe He created all living things
Just as He created you and me.

I believe He makes a brook wander
Down the hillside into a glade
He makes the wind to whisper
As evening shadows fade.

I believe God sends the sunshine
The light of bright stars and the moon
And streaks of flashing lightning
I believe night birds croon.

I believe God made the beautiful flowers
The rocks, hills, and the sod
I believe He sends the rain showers
I believe in the handiwork of a living God.
