~ I Believe In ~

I believe in Peter Pan
Tinkerbell, and the Muffin Man
I believe in Fairy Tales
Under the Sea, and Sailing Snails

I believe in Wishing Stars
Angel Dust, and Flying Cars
I believe in several things
Like Candy Land, and Rainbow Rings

Little Miss Muffet, and Dancing Bears
Kick the Can, and Double Dares
Ring around the Rosie, and Tag, you're it!
I love revisiting, my childhood wit

But, out of all that I believe
God comes to mind, He takes the lead
I dream of Heaven, and how it will be
The beauty up yonder, I can't wait to see!

The face of our Father, looking into His eyes
Will make everything worth it, with no compromise
I may believe in childhood fantasies here
But in my heart, God is ever, so clear

I may dream of dolls dancing, while I'm asleep
And Raggedy Anne, climbing up by my feet
But snuggling close to me, is Jesus at night
Keeping my soul, in His perfect light

It's always a good thing, to daydream away
It helps keep us young, in our older day
As long as we remember, our Creator above
Granted our childhood memories, to us, with love.
