My dear Father, who watches all,
It is only you who knows......
How deeply, totally beyond myself
This love for my daughter goes.

Please guide her in all she does,
Guide me, in guiding her.......
Blend her into your master plan
In the manner you prefer.

For your will be done in all I do,
Please protect my little girl......
For you alone, know what means most
In my heart and in my world.

Keep her in your gentle care,
May her life be oh, so blessed!
You know that she's my sunshine,
The gift you gave me...a test.

May I always make the grade,
Dear Lord, seek you in all I do.......
Oh, thank you God for my daughter,...
I give her back to you!
