I know I could never repay you, friend
For all of the kindness that you show
And I know that all you do and say
Is what makes our friendship grow.

I know we can share the simple things
Of everyday life as it passes our way
And I know we can be here together
And for each other we will always pray

Sometimes I may forget to tell you
What your friendship means to me
But when you need a little prayer
You know I will be down on my knee.

And I hope that you feel the same way
When it comes to me being a friend
And I pray everyday to the Lord above
That our true friendship never ends.
