I'll Wait For You ~
As my
eyes lift, yearning, toward heaven
And my knees bow to the ground,
I am silent and still, with watchful eyes
Listening for the trumpet sound.
Ever vigilant with hopes soaring high,
To hear the angel's triumphant blast.
When we'll be caught up together
To see our Savior's face at last!
For we know that He is coming again
To gather His children home;
Those of us who have been washed of our sin
To stand before His Judgment Throne!
We've walked through trials, bearing our cross,
Withstood, enduring to the end.
Suffering, without counting the cost
For our dear Savior and our friend!
If you arrive before I do,
Save me a place at the Eastern Gate!
And I will do the same for you.
At It's entrance I will wait!
For all we've shared of prayer and the Word,
To NOT wait, I could not bear!
For when I look upon the face of our Lord,
My dear friend, I want you there!
So, kneel with me while we pray
And our Spirits to heaven soar.
To that triumphant Rapture Day,
When friends shall part no more!

~To God be the
glory! I am but His conduit!~
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last
trumpet, for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be
changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruptible,
and
this mortal must put on immortality.
