In the park we stopped to watch
The birds taking such a pretty bath
Singing a song of love
Or so it seemed,
As together we talked and laughed

In the park we saw the little birds fly
We wished we too could soar the sky
If only we could take wing
Upon the skies so blue
Forever, me and you

In our minds we took a photograph
To remember all our life
A happy time filled with love
Kept in our heart
In memory of being best friends
Together in the park
