Listening to the songs on the radio
Enjoying a windy autumn day
The sun is shining bright
And the leaves are being blown away.

Watching the deer in a nearby forest
Trampling across broken limbs of trees
Echoes on the path they're walking on
Resounding along with the breeze.

Listening to a dog bark in the distance
Watching the bees fly close to the ground
These beautiful days of autumn
Are sometimes difficult to be found.

These days are referred to as "Indian Summer"
It's the time between summer and fall
The warm days and crisp, cool nights
They're here before the first snowfall.

Enjoy these days while you can
Old man winter is whispering in your ear
Listen closely and feel the chill
Soon he will be here.
