~ I Prayed For You ~

I prayed the arms of angels
would wrap you in tender care.
I prayed you would find today
some peace and comfort there.

I prayed the sun would shine
upon you through the day.
I prayed you’d see God’s love
as you went along your way.

Sometimes our lives are troubled,
sometimes we’re filled with fear;
That’s why I prayed today
so you would have angels near.

And though you may have sorrow,
for it oft times comes to each,
I want you to always know
there are angels within your reach.

I prayed the arms of angels
would wrap you in tender care,
I prayed you would find today
some peace and comfort there.
