~ It Didn't Matter ~

God's Holy Spirit brings me life
Eternally within my heart
My every breath is moved by Him
By all that He implants

He didn't come for what I am
But, only by His love
His pure delight's now mine in Christ
Each tender little touch

Peace doesn't come from what I do
But only all He did
The joy doesn't come from all I try
But only as His kiss

It didn't matter who I was
For He is all there is
His grace and mercy overflows
Just 'cause He loves to give
