~ I Thirst ~
'I thirst,' said the King of all
ages
He said 'I thirst', yet He made the sea
I did not offer Him water
But He gave his life blood for me
The angels could have brought Him a fountain
Loosed Him and let Him go free
But He said, 'It's finished', then He died
To give the Healing Water to me
Then one day when I was thirsty
My throat and my soul was so dry
I cried 'come, Holy Jesus and give to me,
from the well that never runs dry'
He gave me a drink from the River of Life
That is flowing everlastingly
It cost me nothing, but he gave His all
To give Living Water to me
