~ It's Cold Outside ~
Summer warmth is gone,
winter in the South.
Temperatures down the
scale,
visitors left the route.
Shivering in the windy
weather,
jackets a must.
Hunkering down in heated
homes,
swimming is a bust.
~*~
The land of tropical
scenery,
palm trees swaying to
and fro.
Skies of grayish color
seen,
outside sports must
forego.
What to do when skies
are not blue,
when winds sweep the
land.
Ocean waters pounding
hard,
surf so high, you can't
stand.
~*~
Dust off the good book,
you know what one.
Read what God says,
discovering His Son.
Rejoice and be glad,
you are safe and warm.
God's love protects you,
embraces you from harm.
