~ It's Never Too Late ~

When I thought it was over
Too late to love again
The thought of being older
All I could feel was pain

I always believed in first love
That was the one and only
Then the Lord gave me a hug
The pain lifting so slowly

Clearing tears from my sight
A figure that came into view
A woman surrounded by light
That beautiful angel was you

The Lord's hug did reveal to me
That we were never too old
To fall in love and be happy
To bring rebirth to the soul

You the angel, he sent to me
In the form of love, understanding
To open my soul and to be free
It is never too late to love again
