~ I Walk Beside Jesus ~

I walk beside Jesus
For He holds out His hand
There is a bright light
Which only I understand

When I pray to Jesus
I close my eyes
His presence is what I see
Throughout my life
He smiles from the skies

I walk beside Jesus
His gown purest gold
When I feel His touch
I know I am whole

His footsteps never make a sound
The Holy Spirit surrounds His head
Gently He holds me,
Then with such love
He puts me to bed

May I always walk with Jesus
Hold His hand in mine
To listen to Him speak
It is so divine

May I be blessed by Jesus
Walk with Him today
When my time comes
He will send angels
And I will live with Him always
