~ The Key of David ~

Now that I am leaving you
May my words still echo clear
That I have left here with you
May they linger in your ear

To guide you and protect you
And help you make it through
Where you may find the answers
I will leave with you the clue

Search for the Key of David
To open Wisdom unto you
Of all the mysteries I've told of
And tried to teach you too

To guide you through this life
You must find the Key
I tried so hard to give it to you
But you would not receive from me

That Key is oh so precious
It opens up many doors
For peace and happiness here and now
And beyond forever more

I tried to give it to you
But it was rejected so
You'll have to search and find it now
Before you can ever go

Through the doors that it will open
And for the Wisdom found behind
Search the Word I've left with you
That Key then you will find

I bequeath the Key to all of you
Who choose to follow me
But unless you find and use it
You can never come with me
