~ Knocking At My Door ~

One day someone very special
Came a-knocking at my door
I didn't know, and neither they
What more would then befall

A little knock, a gentle tap
And I rose to let them in
Unaware of all the loveliness
That God would bring within

A tender smile, a soothing look
And such a twinkling laugh
Oh my, what sweetness came that day
When you walked into my heart
