~ A Lady I Call Aunt ~
A gentle loving spirit
Mixed in with a kind heart
Belongs to a lady I know
Where can I start?
I've known her for a while
In fact for all my life
I've known her patience
And I've known her strife.
This lady is a blessing
Of that I am sure
For a lot of ailments
She has been the cure.
She is just like a mother
With some friend on the side
She held my hand in everything
She helped me stand the tide.
So today I call a holiday
At least I think it should be
Happy Aunt's Day Lady
You've been the best to me!
