~ Left Behind ~

Do you want to know how I feel,
How much I truly care?
When I enter Heaven's Gate,
I'll FIGHT to see you there!

If I must wade into the flames
Of Hell's fiery, brimstone lake;
I will do so gladly, friend;
Your soul Hell will not take!

I'll pull you kicking and screaming
From Satan's deadly grasp.
You won't need to thank me,
As you did not need to ask!

I will stand there in the mud,
Wade right into the mire
That God has once pulled me from...
That ever-burning fire!

I will be the one who'll NOT give up,
The one who'll take the chance!
For I won't see a soul left behind
To dance the 'Devil's Dance'!

And when you get to Heaven,
When you see me standing there,
I'll be the one with soot-stained feet
And fire-tinged, flowing hair!

My clothes may have a smoky smell;
Singes on my long white gown.
And I may leave a dusty trail
Of ashes on the ground;

But I hope that up in Heaven,
To my soul's delight I'll find,
I fought and won the battle
And not a soul was left behind!

I Corinthians 9:16-19 (KJV)
16) For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
17) For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
18) What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
19) For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
